COMMUNITY
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES -
I. LASTIWKA
CHOIR
Lastiwka
Ukrainian Orthodox Youth Choir and Orchestra was formed in 1984.
Lastiwka is a choir of 60 singers in Saskatoon under the artistic
direction of Larry Klopoushak. For the past 18 years Mohyla Institute
has been the choir's official home. Lastiwka's weekly rehearsals
are held at the Institute on Sunday evenings between 7:00 and
9:00 P.M.

LIBRARY CENTRE
Mohyla Institute
is a participating partner with the Prairie Centre For The Study
Of Ukrainian Heritage. The major contribution from Mohyla Institute
is its library and archieve collection relating to the history
and life of the Ukrainian community in Canada.
III. MOHYLA
LECTURE SERIES
Mohyla Institute
in cooperation with St. Thomas Moore College and the Saskatchewan
Provincial Ukrainian Canadian Congress introduced Mohyla Lecture
Series in 1995. These lectures highlight important topics on various
Ukrainian subjects: history, culture, contemporary political,
social and economic issues.
